The iMac 27-Inch Aluminum (Retina 5K, Early-2019/Kaby Lake) features a 14-nm 64-bit "Coffee Lake" processor with six independent processor "cores" on a single chip, a 9 MB shared level 3 cache.
The base spec 3.0GHz had the I5-8500 chip, the 3.1GHz had the I5-8600 chip, the 3.7GHz had the I5-9600K and the top spec 3.6GHz had the I9-9900K chip.
This model has a 27" 5120x2880 LED-backlit 16:9 widescreen IPS DCI-P3 "Retina 5K" display. The rear of the case is aluminum and is thicker in the middle and tapers to a razor thin 5 mm at the edges.
